Although Mid-Shore Mental Health Systems, Inc. (MSMHS) primarily serves consumers of mental health services under the Public Mental Health System (PMHS), we can offer assistance to all residents of the five county area. Please contact us directly if you are not a consumer under the PMHS.
The following information is primarily geared to consumers enrolled in the PMHS. There are two sub-categories under the PMHS under which an enrollee might fall:
Medical Assistance (Medicaid or Dually Medicaid / Medicare) recipients are fully covered for services under this State/Federally funded program.
Medical Assistance Ineligible (uninsured) residents are eligible for assistance from the State of Maryland on a sliding fee scale wherein a copayment is determined based on family size and income.
